Welcome to Issue 32 of PALS! There's the usual Events article here, but other than that this time around it's a Hot Air Balloon Special. The newsletter takes a look at how long it took me to get up in a hot air balloon--here's how it all started:
Back in March 2007, I gave Dan a voucher for a hot air balloon flight as a joint birthday/ anniversary gift - of course, I bought myself one too as I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon! Originally the plan was to go up in the balloon in June 2007, just before our wedding, as an anniversary celebration (we got together back in June 1998, so it seemed appropriate). As you can see below, things didn't quite work out that way…here is the story of how long it took us to get up in that balloon:
